Design Works | Emblem of Class 19070242
In September 2020, the placement work ended, a new 19070242 class was established, and I ran for election and became a member of the class committee. At first, the class president wanted me to design a emblem for the class. But I really didn't have any interesting ideas about the keywords computer and the Internet of Things, and I didn't want to use those very cliché computer-related elements, so I randomly designed a pattern that had nothing to do with computers and the Internet of Things.
This motif is essentially a symbol of the water element. When I thought about the meaning of the class emblem later, I thought of it as a symbol of the unity of the classmates, like water droplets, which converged into rivers and seas, forming endless power.
In June 2023, the students of the 19070242 class will go their separate ways, and in order to commemorate the short university time, the whole class committee discussed and decided to design a graduation commemorative badge based on the class emblem.
The circle and water droplets in the class emblem are respectively transformed into flying objects in the universe and the energy surrounding flying objects, which means that on the road of forward exploration, the 19070242 class will always be a mutual help collective, symbolizing the inseparable will of the entire class.
