Game Project | It's a blessing for you

You are a college student who has just entered the society, and you have to sign an unequal contract with your evil boss in order to make a living. The only choices you can make are to work hard to please your boss, or to be lazy in your busy schedule to make yourself happy.
Note: Because this game participates in the Chinese region of GGJ, so most of the game content is designed based on the Chinese Internet content, if you can not understand something please forgive me.
Game Inspiration

This game was an entry for Global Game Jam 2024 and was inspired by the theme of this year's competition, "Make Me Laugh". In keeping with this theme, we came up with two types of laughter, one for the player and one for the game character. Based on this idea, we designed this quick reaction game where bosses and employees play against each other, making the bosses laugh by squeezing their employees, or the employees laugh when they slacking.
Game Mechanics
The game mechanics include two states for the boss (supervisor), three values for the employees and five behaviours for the employees. The employee's behaviour and the boss's state affect the increase or decrease of the employee's values, while the employee's values affect the final outcome. The effect of the behaviours on the values is calculated in seconds.

Employee Values:
Mood A reflection of the employee's energy, continuous work decreases the mood value, slacking increases it.
Performance The employee's ability to work, continuous work will increase the performance, slacking will decrease it.
Bonus Reward for overtime work, only overtime work can get bonus, playing game will consume bonus.
Boss Status:
Supervisory Status Employee's operations have a greater impact on performance.
Leaving Status Employee's operations have a greater impact on mood.
Employee behaviour:

Standby
Situations where no action is taken. Increases mood and decreases performance.

Work
Increases performance and decreases mood.

Overtime
Increases performance and decreases mood by more than work and can earn bonuses.

Slacking
Decreases performance and increases mood.

Playing Game
Decreases performance and increases mood more than slacking, which costs a bonus.
Main Operation
In the game, the player needs to choose to raise one of the mood value or performance to a set target and make sure the other value doesn't drop to the minimum before the countdown ends. Observe the state of the boss and switch between different behaviours to reach different endings.
Keys:
[A]: Slacking off
[Q]: Playing game
[D]: Working
[E]: Overtime
Overtime work can only be done if the boss is a Supervisory Status.
Playing game can only be done if the boss is in Leaving Status and the bonus is not 0.
Ending

Ending 1 "Slacking Expert"
The mood value reaches its maximum before the performance drops to 0.

Ending 2 "Best involution Employee"
Performance reaches target value before mood value drops to 0.

Ending 3 "Redundancy Notice"
Performance was the first to fall to its lowest level.

Ending 4 "Death Notice“
The mood value is the first to drop to its lowest level.

Ending 5 "If you don't do it, someone else will."
The countdown ends without either value reaching the maximum or minimum.
